Well here is an update on what's going on in the Manzo household...
Last week Mike had his doctors appointment to get the nerves in his neck sizzled. So it started off with Mike having to wait in the lobby for 2 hours (they were running behind by 2 hours!), and he wasn't allowed to eat from midnight the night before so of course he was STARVING and put him in a worse mood having to wait. He finally got into the "prep" area and thankfully the nurse looked at the paper work to verify the procedure and found that they had scheduled him for the wrong one! So after waiting another 30 to 45 minutes to get the correct procedure approved by our insurance Mike finally was able to get what he needed done. That took about an hour and we left the doctors office around 5pm. (Mind you he had been there since 11:30am) UGH!!! I felt so bad for him, not only was he sooo sore he was STARVING!!
So now we're just a little bit over a week since the procedure and nothing has changed! So back to the drawing board. Tuesday we go back to the doctors office and see what the next steps are and if Mike needs surgery.
So if that wasn't enough drama for you...yesterday we got bad news that Mike was laid off from Marriott Vacation Club. Unfortunatly because the economy is so bad and Marriott Vacation Club isn't making the funds they needed to, they eliminated his position. Fortunatly he gets 6 weeks of severance and hopefully that's enough time for him to find a job! Of course his severance ends the week of Christmas!
Some good news...we heard Baby Manzo's heartbeat again on Wednesday! That was exciting!!! Baby Manzo is doing good and we will soon find out what we're having!!!! We can't wait, it will be some MUCH needed good news!

Sheesh, that all sounds so yuck! I'm so sorry! Although I could use some forced starvation myself. I hope they figure all this out; it sounds so weird. You guys should move here and Mike can be a teacher...lol It's the job that will never go away up here with all the multiplying children. He'd make pennies though, and no Bank of America :( Good luck! I'm sure he'll find a job. Love you! Give yourself a quick belly rub for me :)

Ugh! YUCK! Poor Mike! Please tell him we are thinking of and praying for him! At least you guys have that little blessing to bring you the joy you need right now!!! Let us know if there is anything else we can do!
That is so not fun, not a fun day at all! As far as the job that pretty much stinks too. Im sorry that you guys are having to go through some trials, bt at least lil manzo is doing fantastic and I hope that that will bring a smile to your faces. I will be praying and love you very much
