Can't teach an old dog new tricks...

So since Mike and I don't have any kids, of the human form at least, our kid is our puppy Tanner! Seriously, we are obsessed with her. She is SO spoiled and gets her way all the time, she really hit the jack pot when she saw us that day at the pound, she probably thought...SUCKERS! Tanner unfortunatly is a shedder! She sheds hair EVERYWHERE, and just lately it started to really bother me. There is always hair everywhere (Many of you have seen my car so you know). When we first got Tanner (a little over 3 years ago now) we didn't train her not to sleep in the bed with us. I thought it was cute and it gave me a cuddle buddy. Just recently I came up with the idea, lets train her to sleep in her bed. RIIIIGHT! Last night was our first attempt, didn't go over so well...finally she won and slept in our bed. Today I went to go and lay down and decided to try again. Here are some photos, her facial expressions say it all!

Longing for the bed...

I left the room for one second and this is how she was laying when I got back, how could I resist!

I'm going to keep trying, eventually I think I'll win. (Mike say's yah right!) Wish me luck!!!

So...lol...since you know me, you can probably imagine the look that was on my face when I was reading about shedded dog hair all over...even in your car! Dude, that's disgusting. I would probably suffer from explosion of my nose and throat and lungs if I came over to your house. Maybe in the next life I will be able to breathe around animals and then I will understand all your crazies that are obsessed with your pets.

Tanner is so cute. I wonder if gave her a (small)treat each time you put her in her bed. That's what we did with her Aunt Suzie everytime we put her in her bed/kennel. So she doesn't feel like she's being punished. Now I just say time for bed or time to go to work and she goes right in.

I already commented, but I am here to specifically laugh OUT LOUD about telling you Shannon was my sister because I think I sort of forgot about that. What a dork I was! Thanks for remembering! Love you
